KVERNA Chiflodocus CD

Eight crushing slabs of prehistoric heaviness on the debut full-length Chiflodocus from this quartet of the Cretaceous period—KVERNA ( Noise Resistance )
Hailing from La Rioja, Logroño, in northern Spain, Kverna emerged during the dark pandemic pre-historic phase and their music is defined by the heavy tones of Stoner, the gritty and guttural vocals of frontwoman Meri leaning toward a Sludge aesthetic, and savage riffs combined with shifts in tempo ranging from mid-tempo passages to full-on D-Beat assaults.
